Style Favorites: Must Have Spring Sandals

It’s SPRING! {sort of}

So that totally means we all are due for a little refresh in the shoe department. Specifically new sandals, with a side of a fresh pedicure! Today I thought it would be fun to round up a few of my favorite spring sandals at the moment. I picked a variety of color options – because it’s so much fun to be colorful in the warmer months – but each shoe has a bunch of options in terms of shades, so be sure to check them out.

And a few of them are even on sale! Take a peek at my picks and let me know what you think!

Getting Vacation Ready: Balanced + Healthy Eats Before Our Trip

This post was sponsored by Weight Watchers International, Inc. as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

So as our Mexican vacation approaches this week, I’ve been spending the past few months getting vacation ready. I was doing KETO for about 2 months, and that worked out great for me {I lost 10 lbs! – I owe you more on that in a separate post.} But when it came closer and closer to our trip, I slowly transitioned from getting my Keto diet to something a little more carb friendly, while not overdoing it. I knew that on my trip, I wanted to be able to eat + drink whatever I wanted and really enjoy myself. It’s why we are going to an all-inclusive {and adults only! Yay!} resort – so we can have a good time and not have to worry about a thing.

And let’s be honest – Mexican food is amazing, I want to eat all of it!

Random Spring photo of the blossoms to show it was Spring in Philly for a quick moment this weekend. I hope it comes back soon.

Back to getting vacation ready – For me, when it comes to dieting, I don’t like to really do it on my own. I need some inspiration, some motivation {and a few ground rules} It makes it easier for me to track my progress throughout the day. As you can imagine, days with the littles can get a little crazy, sometimes its hard to even make myself a meal before 6:00 at night! I’ve also found that for me, it’s been hard for me to get to the gym to work on my progress there, so I knew that making a big impact in my diet + knowing the calories per day I needed to hit, that helped me stay on track.

I know I need a little structure in my eating schedule –  so I was excited when I had the opportunity to check out the new Freestyle™ program with zero Points® foods and  Weight Watchers® products – With this program there are smart options and flexibility to enjoy more a wide variety of recipes and foods to help you reach any goal. I really like this program because it encourages you to eat more fruits, veggies, lean protein, and less sugar and unhealthy fats – and new to the program are 200+ zero Points® foods, that you don’t ever have to portion or track.

Aside from the Weight Watchers program itself, I love when I go to the grocery store I can easily find WW licensed/endorsed items that myself and my whole family enjoy – and they are all so simple to find at your local Walmart!

A few of my favorites include the JOLLY TIME® Healthy Pop® Popcorn endorsed by Weight Watchers® and the Arnold® Sandwich Thins rolls endorsed by Weight Watchers®. It’s so easy to grab these products and know exactly what you are getting, in terms of your diet + progress. Other favorites I can’t wait to try include Flatout® Flatbread endorsed by Weight Watchers® AND Weight Watchers® Ice Cream Novelties, both of which were sold out at my local store, but I can’t wait to get my hands on them during my next grocery trip.

A little more about my two favorites: The Arnold Sandwich Thin rolls are always amazing to have in the house for basically any meal – they are a great source of fiber, come in multiple flavor varieties {Whole Wheat, Honey Wheat, Flax & Fiber}, and are only 3 SmartPoints® value per roll.

The boys LOVE these rolls with their lunchtime sandwiches and I can’t get enough of them with my avocado + egg salad sandwich! It’s totally the perfect portion!

Another product we can’t live without is the amazing – JOLLY TIME® Healthy Pop® Popcorn endorsed by Weight Watchers® I love that it comes in 100 calorie packs for portion control, is non-GMO and gluten free – not to mention it’s also the only popcorn that is endorsed by Weight Watchers® and its only 3 SmartPoints® value per serving. Look at how cute the bag is, fits right in my hand!

I love this little popcorn bag because its great for me when I need a snack, and it feels like I’m eating so much food in the little 100 calorie bag, but it’s also a simple + easy treat to have on hand to share with the boys. A movie + popcorn date is a little treat they get to earn throughout the week for being good listeners!

This weeks movie pick: Big Hero 6 – I LOVE this movie!

I’ve found that when I’m shopping for healthy food options the whole family can enjoy, it makes it easier for me to stay where I want to be with my eating habits, because any food I may ‘mom grab’ while I make food + snacks for the kids, is balanced! I love having these smart options to help me on my journey, and I can’t wait to share my progress with you as I continue on!

Getaway Inspired – My Mexico Packing List

This week is all sorts of crazy as we get ready to head off to vacation on our adults only {and all-inclusive!} trip to Mexico! Olè! It’s always fun to pack for vacation, at least I think so – but it’s slightly more difficult when you add in all the extra packing for the kids as they are spending the week at Camp Grandparents! {THANK YOU!} So getting all their stuff together, getting all my stuff together, making sure everything is organized, charged and good to go – not to mention finding a few moments to sneak away to get my nails done + possibly a spray tan {#basic} – It’s going to be a jam packed few days.

I’m definitely going to need a vacation from all this packing for vacation!

So in an effort to share with you some of my outfit inspiration for this trip, along with a few recent purchases that may or may not be making an appearance down in Mexico, I put together this little list of a few of my favorite things. Check it out and let me know what you think!

 one / two / three / four / five / six / seven / eight / nine

 one  – New shades are always fun and I LOVE the reflective coloring on these, I totally see a beach being reflected from them in a cool photo {is it wrong to buy sunglasses based on potential Insta photos?!}

two – I love this hat, its the perfect shape, size and the black pom wrap is reversible to this cool navy fringe. Super fun!

three – These double bow espadrilles are THE CUTEST THINGS EVER. I am obsessed with the soft pink color. Perfection.

four / six – I am really into the high waisted two piece bathing suit trend this season. I picked up a few off amazon for SUPER CHEAP and I’m pretty excited about them. Can’t wait to share them with you from the beach! Also, do you see a floral print trend? #sorryimnotsorry

five – If this suit isn’t Mexican getaway perfection, I don’t know what is. Fun Fact – it’s under $15. Boom.

seven – Another piece that was made specifically for this trip. I am loving the red and the embroidered detail AND the off the shoulder. Can’t wait to style this one up and wear it out to dinner!

eight – I mean SERIOUSLY. This BAG! It is so beautifully made. Again, perfect for this trip.

nine – And finally, this kimono – You can wear it over jeans, shorts or a bathing suit. I’m going to be wearing it as a cover up this trip and I’m super excited about it. Take a look at it online, the lace detail is amazing.

Coffee Chat + Friday Favorites

Hello + Happy Friday!

It’s been a while since I’ve just popped on to share a few of my favorite things, so I thought today would be a good day to catch up on what I’ve been loving lately!

So sit back, grab a cup of coffee, have a stretch and lets chat!

outfit details: gray split back top {similar + also cute!}

It’s FINALLY Spring in Philadelphia and I couldn’t be more excited. I can’t wait to be outside with the boys more, to enjoy our back patio {dinner + drinks al fresco!} and don’t even get me started on spring + summer style. The buds are popping on the trees, the skies are blue and the temperatures are finally at a respectable level for April. It’s an instant mood lift all around.

Philadelphia is so beautiful this time of year – I love it.

I almost hate to leave it when we head off to Mexico for vacation next week {kid-free!} – almost!

Speaking of vacation..

These shoes DEFINITELY need to be on a beach in Mexico with me. How perfect are they for vacation?! They are under $23 and part of a Buy One Get One 60% off -> these are similar and super cute too!

And along with those shoes, comes this amazing floral, one-shoulder swimsuit, fedora + shades.

Because #vacaymode

I’m basically counting down the seconds until I’m on a beach next week. Hopefully this next week goes by quick and the following week goes slow! Ha!

To get ready for the above swimsuit {and all the other amazing new ones} I have been trying to keep my diet super clean. I’ve been doing Keto for a little while, which has been really great, basically cutting carbs + focusing on real, whole food. That’s included lots of shakes + smoothies – which are so much better to enjoy with this the nice weather!

I’ve been LOVING this Naked Whey that I’ve been adding to my drinks – it only has one ingredient with no additives, it’s pretty amazing!

Pretty good stats, right?

Another product I’ve been loving lately has been this Eyelash Growth Serum. I’m pretty minimalistic with my make-up and I really like only like to wear a little tinted moisturizer, mascara + lipstick.

Basically my #momlife make-up. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and I can totally tell the difference. ESPECIALLY when paired with this primer before mascara that I’m obsessed with too. Love.

And here’s a great transitional top for your wardrobe – it’s an easy piece to travel between the seasons – as its still not too hot, but not to cold either!

outfit details: gray split back top {similar + also cute!}

statement necklace / sunglasses

Back to this top – which has been on repeat since the weather started to warm up a bit. It’s the perfect light layering piece that can be worn over a workout top or a fun bra, since it has to super cool open split back. Not to mention its in my favorite color that goes with everything. Gray!

And finally a little weekend special I had to share!

How cute are these earrings!? And don’t even get me started on that clutch 😍 The Roman Chandelier Earrings are available in red and white and THIS WEEKEND they are ONLY $9.99 with a $100 purchase. Great little spruce up to your summer wardrobe. ☀️

Shop them here!

I hope your weekend is already off to an amazing start!

Are you up to anything fun?! Please share!

With two little boys, who are definitely OVER active, we are always out and about, running around, playing, getting dirty – total #boymom life. There is not much down time, I always have to be up for anything and everything – and I absolutely have to dress the part.

I’m a big believer in the fact that you can be active everywhere, and still look cute! From running around on the playground, to chasing little ones up and down the soccer field – and even when I get a spare minute to myself to hit up the gym, I’ve been loving the new prAna Spring collection I was sent to enjoy!

 First up, the pants – or more officially known as the Steph Jogger {on sale!} – I am in love with these pants for many reasons. I love the relaxed, yet structured fit. They are light weight, but at the same time have a sustainable feel to them. I love the gray + white stripes because I feel like you can easily dress them up a bit with a darker top, or make them more casual with whites or lighter tops.

These pants would be so cute to wear over your swimsuit to the beach, would be perfect for a long day of travel or just great to throw on and feel super comfortable on your way to meet friends for lunch. They also come in a cute Burgundy “Raisin” color, which I am totally eyeing up as well.

And about this top – the  Getup Sweater – I am IN LOVE. It’s the perfect sweater to throw on over your yoga gear or over a tank on the way to the gym on a cooler morning. It’s also a great beach sweater to wear over your swimsuit after a long day in the sun! It is made with 100% Organic Cotton, which feels amazing and comes in 3 other colors too.

And what about that knit stitch detail?! Do you love it as much as I do?

I love these two items as separates, but they also work so well together. They are pieces you can easily mix and match with basically anything else in your closet and look great – Which are definably things I look for when shopping these days! I try to keep it easy to grab and go, with pieces that can easily transition through the seasons, which for sure these two prAna pieces do!

Add in some accessories + some layers, change up the kicks and you can make this look sporty, preppy, beachy, boho – whatever your mood desires!

Aside from the fact that these pieces are awesome – everything prAna is 100% organic cotton, which not only means its softer {seriously, WAY SOFTER}, but clothes that are made this way are better for you and the environment. Sustainability + Wins all around.

Check out prAna’s commitment to 100% organic cotton here.

Be sure to check out the new prAna Spring collection and don’t forget to take 15% off your next prAna order, use code – AELBS18

Are you as big of fan of prAna as I am? Let me know your favorite piece!

And as a little extra prAna inspiration – here are a few of my favorite things from the new collection. I’m loving the crisp whites, blue hues and classic silhouettes with a twist! What do you think?

Trunk Club Reveal, Free People Inspired – Part 2

Hello + Welcome to Part 2 of my Free People Inspired Trunk! Check out yesterdays post to get caught up on Part 1!

Every piece was basically perfect, just sayin’

If you want to get caught up, check out my previous Trunk Club posts:

my first Trunk  / Second Trunk Club  / Third Trunk {before our trip to Mexico!} / Fourth Trunk Part 1 + Part 2 / Fifth Trunk {for the Holidays!} / Spring Trunk Club Reveal

Before I get into my Trunk: If you are interested in signing up for  Trunk Club yourself – please use my referral link and let me know what you think!

First up, is this beauty of a sweater. {it’s on super sale here + comes in 3 colors}

I did a sneak peek of this look on IG the other day and I know you all loved it as much as I do.

Georgia Hoop Earrings / White Lace Sweater {on sale!}/

Distressed Denim / Lazer Cut Booties / Lipstick  {in Fiore}

I love the cream color and the lace detail of this oversized sweater. It’s perfect for a spring day or a chilly summer night. It also has fun bell sleeves which are cuffed – its just an easy piece to wear and look instantly put together.

Does this top look familiar?

Yesterday, I showed it in black – I also got to try out this beautiful lilac color as well. It actually comes in 7+ colors, depending on whats in stock – but this lilac is the perfect color for spring. And I love how this top is so easy to wear, to layer, to tie – its just a fun, flowy top.

As I mentioned yesterday, this is a small, but I actually sized down in this top in a XS so it was a little less excess fabric.

To pair with the lilac top, I was sent this long cardigan {which is on sale here + super sale here!} It comes in mauve pink {shown}, blue + ivory.

I love the front patch pockets on this beauty, along with the contrasting hem, that goes along with the henley top perfectly. It’s an easy cardigan to wear basically doing anything – can dress it up or down – and I love the color.

What do you think?

I’ve been eyeing up this long sleeve FOREVER at this point, but wasn’t sure about the sizing or fit, so I am glad I got to try it out in this Trunk. It comes in 7 color options and it might be one of my favorite long sleeves of all time. I love the form fitting sleeves paired with the loose + flowy body. Super flattering on everyone – in my option, especially paired with the round neck.

The only thing I’m on the fence about is the color – thoughts on the orange? Online it looks a little lighter, which is perfect for summer, but in person its orange. Not sure if the color makes it more Fall than spring – what do you think?

And finally – the denim.

Again, look familiar? I wore the darker wash in yesterdays post – today is all about the light wash.

They are high waisted {win!}, under $80 {another win!} and fit like a glove. I love the ripped knee look personally and the light wash is perfect for spring.

And I’d love to hear – What do you think of this part of my latest Trunk ?

What’s your favorite piece? What do you think I should keep? Please share!

Free People Inspired Trunk Club Reveal – Part 1

I CANNOT believe its actually been about a year since I received a Trunk Club – How has it been that long?!

The truth is I’m pretty picky about what I add to my closet these days.

If you aren’t familiar, Trunk Club, its a styling service where you have a stylist and you work together to create a new trunk, filled with great style – as often as you like.

Trunk Club is different for a few reasons:

1- It’s a Nordstrom affiliate which makes them instantly awesome, complete with favorite, quality brands you already know and love.

2- You get to be more involved in your trunk {if you want to be} – Once you let your stylist know what you are looking for in your upcoming trunk, she puts together a preview for you – which is usually 12 items or so she’s planning on putting in your trunk, including size and color. You can accept or decline each piece, then anything you skip, your stylist fills in the gap and you get some surprises once you receive your trunk. Pretty cool, right?

If you want to get caught up, check out my previous Trunk Club posts:

Georgia Hoop Earrings / Black Top {on sale here!}/

Distressed Denim / Lazer Cut Booties / Lipstick  {in Fiore}

Before I get into my Trunk: If you are interested in signing up for  Trunk Club yourself – please use my referral link and let me know what you think! As I mentioned, Trunk Club is a part of Nordstrom, so you get amazing customer service and great quality brands. It’s $25 to get a trunk full of goodies and you can use that $25 towards anything you want to keep – so it’s pretty much free in my eyes!

I was sent 12 beautiful pieces of clothing to try on for this month, so I thought it was best to split it up into two posts, today & tomorrow! I had a hard time sending this box back, I sort of loved it all! I asked for a “Free People Inspired” trunk, because I’ve been loving all the FP pieces this season. Here’s what I got – check it out and let me know what you think!

First up – This Black Top {check it out on sale here!}

I’ve been obsessing over it since I first saw it on a few of my favorite fellow bloggers – it’s amazing. I was dying to try it out myself, because I wasn’t sure about size. I love that it comes in every color under the sun, has some beautiful button detail and that its flowy. I tend to wear looser tops and tighter bottoms, so this is right up my alley.

I’m totally glad I tried this in my trunk because the sizing is VERY generous. I was sent a small, which is what is shown in this photo – but I actually ended up exchanging it for an XS which I think is more flattering – I’ll have to take a picture in the new size to show you for comparison.

Georgia Hoop Earrings / Black Top {on sale here!}/

Distressed Denim / Lazer Cut Booties / Lipstick  {in Fiore}

I think the thing I most love about this top is that it’s amazing for layering AND you can tie it in a super cute knot for a fun look – both of which you will see in below photos!

Do you love this top as much as I do?

Another item that’s in all of these photos from my Trunk are these Distressed Denim. I have been eyeing up a pair of jeans with double holes in the knees, because I think they look so cool, and I was so happy I got to try these out. They are high waisted and amazing. So comfortable, great to pair with booties, sneakers, flats or heels AND they are under $80! I am in LOVE with these as well.

Are you a fan?

Next up, also paired with the black top + denim which came in the Trunk all together is this bomber jacket {it also comes in this gorgeous mauve} but I am LOVING the olive for the season.

Georgia Hoop Earrings / Bomber Jacket /

/ Black Top {on sale here!}

 / Distressed Denim / Lazer Cut Booties /

This jacket is the sort of thing that makes you instantly feel cool when you put it on. I love the cool pockets, flaps and boho stitching detail up the zipper. Also, it was a really good weight – not so lightweight that it didn’t feel like you had anything on, but it was a solid layering jacket to wear.

I’m a fan.

Next up – SHOES!

I was sent these black leather loafers which I was excited to try out. I know loafers are all over the place this season and seem to be a great transitional shoe between the seasons so I was glad I got to try them out.

These were interesting to receive in person as when I saw them online I thought they were more perforated with the detail, but in real life the texture is more of a snakeskin look – which isn’t really my style. Luckily, this particular shoe comes in 12 {yes you read that right – 12} different color + style options. So there are options to choose from for sure.

And the last piece to share today for Part 1 of this Trunk is this white henley {which is on crazy sale at the moment} In this photo it needs a little steaming action, but I’m a busy mom so pretend you don’t see it – k?

I love this top as its flowy and comfortable, but I think sizing down makes a little more sense as it would be a little less fabric. Other than that I’m in love and really love the longer back! It’s lightweight and again, I think would be a great transitional piece between the seasons – before it gets too hot from spring to summer or before it gets too cold from summer to fall. Easy to layer too! What do you think?

Ok, so that concludes PART 1 of this Trunk Club reveal – stop by tomorrow to see what else arrived on my doorstep in this cute little box and help me decide what to keep!

And I’d love to hear – What do you think of this part of my latest Trunk ?

What’s your favorite piece? What do you think I should keep? Please share!
